    Joe Sullivan has over 20 years’ experience in information security. Joe got his start securing shared web hosting environments during the .com boom and has worked in roles that include incident response, forensics, penetration testing, security architecture, and served as a CISO for a financial institution.

    Over the course of his career Joe has worked with clients in the Fortune 100 and top financial institutions in the nation to help secure their web applications. Joe has also worked with international clients to secure their Internet facing assets in Australia, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and Italy.

    Joe’s industry contributions have involved presenting at conferences such as BSides, Check Point CPX, Information Warfare Summit, InfraGard, and serving as a chapter leader for the Oklahoma City OWASP Chapter.

    Joe also teaches MGT514 Security, Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership for the SANS Institute where he helps students transition from the technical side of security to the leadership side.
